As a seasoned banker, strategist and trusted advisor, Mr. Shazad Dada has experience of more than 34 years. He has led multiple renowned financial institutions, driving profitability by turning around loss making divisions and strengthening their Investment Banking division. Currently, he is Founder and Managing Partner of “Dada Partners”, a boutique advisory firm providing Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Corporate Restructuring, Corporate Transformation, Private Equity, Debt and Green Financing to clientele within Pakistan and the MENA region.
Shazad started off in Deutsche Bank Securities Inc, New York and swiftly rose to the rank of Managing Director, Americas M&A, for Technology, Media and Telecommunications. Subsequently, he moved to Pakistan as Chief Executive Officer for Deutsche Bank, where he played a key role in turning around the franchise’s profitability. Thereafter, he joined Barclays Pakistan as Managing Director and Head of Regional Transaction Services Steering Committee for Asia, India, UAE and Pakistan. His last stint with an International Bank was as Chief Executive Officer for Standard Chartered Pakistan, after which he decided to spearhead one of Pakistan’s premier banks, United Bank Limited (UBL).
Shazad currently serves as a Director on the Board of Mashreq Bank Pakistan, National Institute of Banking and Finance, a premier knowledge institute of the State Bank of Pakistan. He is also Chairman, Board of Trustees, for Development in Literacy Pakistan, an organization thriving to provide low-cost, high-quality education to thousands of deserving children across Pakistan. Previously, he has served as President of Overseas Investor Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) Pakistan, Chairman Pakistan Bank’s Association, Chairman Pakistan Mercantile Exchange, Board Member Karachi Stock Exchange and Sui Southern Gas Company.
Shazad is a graduate with honors from University of Pennsylvania with Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Arts degrees, and also has an MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Kapadia is the Founder Executive Director and Senior Executive Officer. He has held Senior Management roles with Commercial as well as Private Banks and has more than 25 years of experience in Multinational Banks; his last assignment was with Credit Suisse AG, DIFC, Dubai, U.A.E. His in depth Corporate Banking/ Wealth Management experience across various organizations is a value add and guiding principle for HCL in corporate leadership, learning and growth. He has a strong network of clients in Africa, Pakistan, and the U.A.E. in the last 25 years.
